However, some modern versions of COBOL, such as COBOL-85 and COBOL 2002, have features that allow for some level of object-oriented programming, such as the use of classes and objects. Additionally, there are third-party tools and frameworks that can be used to implement object-oriented programming concepts in COBOL.
